So, meine Lieben, es ist an der Zeit euch von meinen Erlebnissen in Berlin zu erzählen und um euch einen Ausblick auf den modischen Winter 2017 zu geben, damit ihr wisst, welches Schnäppchen sich aktuell noch lohnt.

Am Sonntag Abend ging es für mich erst mal zum CrossfitWerk Berlin um mich nochmal so richtig auszupowern, die anschließende Lasagne bei meinem Lieblingsitaliener diente zur Stärkung für die kommenden Tage.

Am Montag ging es dann zur ersten Modemesse, der Show&Order. Hier gab es schon einen ersten Eindruck, bevor es dann am Dienstag zur Panorama und am Mittwoch zur Premium ging.

Natürlich machte ich auch zwei Zwischenstopps am Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Zelt am Brandenburger Tor einmal zur Sportalm Kitzbühel Show und am Mittwoch zu Anja Gockel, die hier ihr 20jähriges Jubiläum feierte. Da ich bei Anja Gockel ein Ticket für die Front Row hatte, stoppte ich vorher noch bei L’Oreal um mein Styling zu optimieren. Ich dachte ja bislang, dass meine Schnittlauchlocken keine Lockenpracht ergeben könnten, aber weit gefehlt. Die zauberhafte Nahema zauberte unglaubliche Locken auf meinen Kopf, die auch wirklich bis zum späten Abend hielten. Die Show selber war, wie immer sehenswert und machte Lust auf den Herbst/ Winter 16/17.

Aber was sind die Trends für den nächsten Winter?

Fake Fur/ Fur in allen Farben und Mustern. Ob als Weste, Schal (z.B. wie mein Schal oben von Anja Gockel) oder Jacke hier lohnt es sich im Schlussverkauf nochmal zuzuschlagen.

Auch die Culotte hält sich hartnäckig auch im nächsten Winter.

Strick in Oversize bleibt auch.

Allerdings wird der nächste Winter etwas bunter als dieser, vor allem Rottöne waren stark vertreten.

Berlin Fashion Week

So, my lovely readers it´s about time to tell you about my recent adventures at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Furthermore I give you an outlook on the trends for winter 2017 and tips on what to buy in the ongoing sale right now.

On Sunday evening I started with a crossfit class at CrossfitWerk Berlin and a heartening lasagne at my favorite italian restaurant.

The first fashion fair started on Monday, the Show&Order, so I got a first impression of the coming fall/ winter collection. On Tuesday I visited the Panorama and on Wednesday I went to the Premium. Obviously I made a pitstop at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tent opposite the Brandenburger Tor as well to visit the Sportalm Show and the Show from Anja Gockel, who celebrated her 20th anniversary. As I got a front row seat at Anja Gockel, I stopped at the L’Olreal booth first, to give my style a polish. The lovely Nahema made wonderful curls out of my normally very straight hair. Merely sensational…it stayed that way all the way through the night! The show itself was wonderful and I am very much looking forward to next winter.

But what trends are coming for fall/ winter 16/17?

Fake fur/ fur in all colors and patterns. In form of vests, scarf (like mine above from Anja Gockel) and coats. So, find yourself one on sale right now!

The culottes are still a trend.

Oversize knitwear as well.

But next winter will add a little color to it, mostly different shades of red.

Morgen ist Weihnachten :-). Da ich die letzte Woche Urlaub hatte ist es bei mir dieses Jahr sehr stressfrei und alle Geschenke sind besorgt und verpackt. Bevor ihr jetzt neidisch werdet, da ihr gerade wie blöd durch die Stadt rennt um das Letzte zu besorgen und dann mit Grauen an die Einpack-Orgie denkt, die ihr noch vor euch habt, dann habe ich etwas für euch. Hier sind ein paar Beispiele, wie man Geschenke verpacken kann, denn eine schöne Verpackung ist fast genauso wichtig wie der Inhalt. Mit einer liebevollen Verpackung drückt ihr aus, dass euch der Mensch etwas bedeutet und ihr Mühe und Zeit investiert habt. Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall immer sehr über schöne selbst eingepackte Geschenke.

Ich schenke auch immer der OP-Pflege, den Kardiotechnikern, den Sekretärinnen, den Arzthelferinnen eine Kleinigkeit um mich für die Zusammenarbeit des vergangenen Jahres zu bedanken. Auch die Station bekommt eine große Weihnachtstüte mit Lebkuchen und anderen Leckereien, für diejenigen, die an Weihnachten arbeiten müssen. Es dauert zwar etwas alles zu besorgen und zu verpacken, aber es lohnt sich.

It´s Christmas tomorrow….oh I am excited! But you probably run around errands to get the last gifts (or any at all) and prepare for the big day. In this stressful setting gift wrapping can be a really annoying duty, but it is as important as the present itself. With the perfect gift wrapping you can express how much you love the one you are giving to. A nice wrapping gives me a smile and it does look good under the christmas tree :-). If you are running out of ideas I put together my presents for this christmas, be it for family, friends or my staff at the hospital, to give you some inspiration on how the wrap the present.

Speaking of the gifts for the hospital staff. I always give little presents to the OR staff, the perfusionists, the secretaries and a huge Santa bag with sweets for the ward for those working on Christmas. It is a lot of work to get it all sorted and wrapped, but I think it is a nice idea, to say thank you for all the work they do for you over the year. So, maybe you consider that next year…it will make your work a little easier.
